Luxury Apartments in Downtown Fullerton
The Downtown landscape is getting a new look with two major upscale apartment developments.
Pinnacle at Fullerton, a 192-unit community located on the northwest corner of Lemon and Commonwealth, welcomed the first residents in January 2004.
Pinnacle at Fullerton offers spacious apartment homes enveloping a central courtyard, and will provide residents with services more often found at the finest resorts. Residents will find such features as a swimming pool and spa, showcase fitness center, clubroom with high-definition plasma TV and theatre sound, and a business center with conference facilities. Residents will also have access to on-line service requests.
The studio, one- and two-bedroom flats and two- and three-bedroom town homes are all pre-wired for high-speed cable Internet. Other features include gas and double-sided fireplaces, in-home washers and dryers, walk-in closets, and spacious private terraces.
BRE's leasing staff is looking to recruit retailers for the ground-floor units along Commonwealth that will provide convenient services for Pinnacle residents, such as dry cleaning, cafes, salons, and banking. For retail space info, contact 949-705-5001.
"We expect Pinnacle at Fullerton to be the premier apartment community in northern Orange County," Morelan said.

The second upscale rental community is the City Pointe Apartments by The Morgan Group, opening summer 2004.
Located near the corner of Harbor and Chapman, City Pointe will offer residents an "urban attitude" with many downtown conveniences within steps of their front doors. Residents will also be able to enjoy nearby attractions such as the weekly Farmers Market, live performances in Plummer Auditorium, and close proximity to the City's regional transportation center.
City Pointe will offer 182 modern one- and two-bedroom apartment homes. The project's attractive architecture will encircle a lush center courtyard where residents can enjoy a relaxing pool, spa, outdoor fireplace, and intimate BBQ patio seating.
Residents will have access to a community movie theater, game room, modern fitness center with cardio-theater, and subterranean parking with elevator access to the five floors of the complex.
The project will also offer what The Morgan Group calls "five-star services," including concierge, valet dry cleaning, coffee bar and complimentary video rentals.
The Morgan Group completed another upscale rental community - this in the master planned community of Amerige Heights in northwest Fullerton. Opening in November 2003, this 292-unit rental community named Amerige Pointe is within walking distance of the Amerige Heights Shopping Center, and includes 10,000 square feet of retail space of its own.
The community not only offers traditional apartments, but also town home/loft and live/work units with storefront access. There are 16 floor plans. Each unit has designer appointments, high-speed wiring, and full appliance package. Private garages will also be available.
In addition, the complex will have a large swimming pool with spa, BBQ areas, resident movie theater, fitness center, full-service business center, coffee bar, game room, concierge service, valet dry cleaning, and complimentary video rentals.
Louis Kuntz, Morgan Group managing partner, said the goal of both Morgan developments "is to offer superior apartment living to the Fullerton community...We want our residents to feel as though they live at a five-star resort."
