In the past 20 years Californians have successfully diverted more than 500 million tons of waste from local landfills. By changing the way we manage our disposable waste and practicing the 3 R’s - Reduce, Reuse and Recycle, we are making a difference.
To be truly successful and continue to make a difference, we must take personal responsibility and carefully examine our own waste habits. Once you become aware of what you are throwing away, it is easy to develop best practices to ensure you and your family are doing all you can to preserve natural resources and protect our environment.
