Class Offers Help for Sufferers of Chronic Illnesses
For the estimated 100 million Americans who suffer from a chronic illness, day-to-day living can be such a challenge that any thought of doing something other than "just getting by" may seem a pipe dream.

That's the message of "Healthy Living," an educational series beginning April 8 at the Fullerton Community Center.

The free six-week course, which will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Wednesdays, is designed to help people with chronic illnesses learn to manage and control the symptoms and conditions of their diseases, thus enabling them to lead fuller, healthier lives.

Fullerton Market Opens on April 2
The Fullerton Market will begin Thursday, April 2, and will run every Thursday through October 29. The market starts at 4 p.m. and goes until 8:30 p.m. Fullerton Market is located in the Downtown Plaza on Wilshire Avenue, between Harbor Boulevard and Pomona Avenue, adjacent to the Fullerton Museum Center. Admission to the market is free.

“Crime & Science” Award-Winning Authors Coming to the Fullerton Library
Crime & Science Award-winning authors and short story writer, Jan Burke along with lecturer and consultant D.P. Lyle, M.D., will host a free lecture on Sunday, March 29 at the Fullerton Library at 353 W. Commonwealth Ave. Burke and Lyle are co-hosts of the Crime and Science Radio program found at http://crimeandscienceradio.com/.
