Every year during the month of December, the Orange County Toy Collaborative and the firefighters from all over Orange County join their counterparts across the county in appealing to citizens to donate new, unwrapped toys or sports equipment to ensure every underprivileged child receives a gift.
|The Cities of Brea and Fullerton are one step closer to forming a Joint Powers Authority (JPA) for shared fire services due to special legislation (SB1251) sponsored by Senator Bob Huff with bi-partisan approval by the California State Assembly. The bill, signed into law by Gov. Brown in August, provides a legislative foundation for Brea and Fullerton to continue its successful cost-saving service model.|
