PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING AGENDA

Persons addressing the Planning Commission shall be limited to 10 minutes unless an extension of time is granted by the Chairman, subject to approval of the Planning Commission. When any group of persons wishes to address the Commission, it shall be proper for the Chairman to request that a spokesman be chosen to represent the group.
Public comment will be allowed on agenda items at the time the item is considered.
Public comment will be allowed on matters not appearing on the agenda but within the Planning Commission's jurisdiction, at the end of the agenda. No action may be taken on off-agenda items except as provided by law.
The Planning Commission's approval or denial of any action on this agenda shall become final and effective ten days after its decision unless an appeal is made in writing within this ten-day period to the City Council by either an applicant or an opponent. The filing of an appeal within such time limit shall stay the effective date of the order of the Planning Commission until such time as the City Council has acted on the appeal. Anyone interested in making an appeal should contact the Development Services Department for assistance.

|CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT CUP-938. APPLICANT: CHARLOTTE CARSEY; PROPERTY OWNER: GREATER N.O.C. ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS. To review the operation of a reception hall/community social service facility originally approved in January, 1996, in an existing building on property located at 1441 North Brea Boulevard. The review will include discussion of the business operation since the approval, the conditions of approval originally attached to the Conditional Use Permit, potential additional conditions of approval and the potential setting of a date for a public hearing before the Planning Commission to consider the revocation of the Conditional Use Permit itself for cause. C. AGENDA FORECAST. The next meeting of the Planning Commission will be July 23, 1997, at 7:00 p.m.
- To consider a site plan and conditional use permit to construct a 201,197-square-foot warehouse/truck distribution facility and to exceed the allowable "base" floor area ratio for the M-P zone at 701 South Sally Place.
- To consider revocation of an existing Conditional Use Permit to operate a private law school in an existing building at 233 East Commonwealth Avenue.
- To modify a previously approved 31-acre residential development by reducing the total number of units from 192 to 155, amending the Specific Plan and modifying the previously-approved tentative tract map at the southeast corner of Brea Boulevard and Bastanchury Road.
- To abandon a 10-foot easement for sewer purposes on property located at 2641 Tiffany Place.
