Fullerton celebrates "Clean Energy Day" from 10 am to 2 pm with the grand opening of EcoFuel CNG, their new compressed natural gas fueling center followed at 11am with free eWaste Recycling and free paper shredding till 2pm. It's located at 1600 W. Commonwealth Avenue at Basque Avenue.

The Farmers Market offers fresh fruit, vegetables, eggs, honey, fish, flowers, plants, nuts and bread. The vendors/farmers make the trek weekly to Fullerton from as far away as Brawley to the south and Fresno to the north, and many have established friendships with their long-time customers.

4:00 PMEconomic Development Commission
The Economic Development Commission implements the Fullerton Plan (General Plan) by serving as a focal point for the community, businesses, City economic development policies and programs. The EDC reviews and makes recommendations to the City Council regarding economic development policies and programs related to the City.

The EDC meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 4:00 p.m. and the fourth Wednesday of each month at 4:00 p.m. at Fullerton City Hall, City Council Conference Room, 303 W. Commonwealth Avenue, Fullerton, CA 92832.
7:00 PMPlanning Commission Meeting
The Planning Commission makes recommendations to the Council for the regulation of future growth, development and beautification of the city in relation to its public buildings, streets, grounds, and vacant lots; to study, prepare and recommend a master or general plan or amendment thereto for the physical development of Fullerton and any land abutting its boundaries; and to review the Capital Improvement Program as it relates to the General Plan. The Commission meets twice a month on the second and fourth Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. in Fullerton City Hall, Council Chamber, 303 W. Commonwealth Avenue, Fullerton, CA 92832

The committee advises the Planning Commission on matters relating to physical design including architecture, site design, signs, and landscaping for all major development projects on properties in the redevelopment areas. It also has the authority to approve or disapprove minor development projects.

A hauntingly good time is in the offing when the Fullerton Museum Center's popular "Haunted Fullerton Walking Tours" return for their 14th season in September.

Tours will be given Wednesday and Thursday evenings Sept. 18 through Nov. 6, with a special Halloween tour planned Oct. 31. Due to popularity, the tours book up fast, and persons interested in participating are strongly advised to get their registrations in early.
