Fullerton, Ca – Planning a trip overseas during spring break or the summer? If so, and if you do not yet have a passport, come by the Fullerton Public Library on Saturday, March 9, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. The Fullerton Public Main Library located at 353 W. Commonwealth Ave., in Fullerton, will host a special passport event in support of Passport Day USA, sponsored by the Department of State.
This celebration hopes to provide information to U.S. citizens about the passport process and to encourage timely applications in anticipation of upcoming travels. The Fullerton Public Library also provides a passport photo service.
When traveling in and out of the United States, U.S. citizens must
present a valid passport book. For U.S. citizens entering the United States from Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and Bermuda at land borders and sea ports of entry must present a passport book, passport card, or other travel documents approved by the U.S. government.
