Patrick Oliphant’s exhibit at the Fullerton Museum entitled, “Leadership: Oliphant Cartoons and Sculpture from the Bush Years” will be coming to an end on Sunday, January 6, 2013.

Oliphant is one of the top political cartoonist of this generation and called by the New York Times as “the most influential cartoonist now working.” His exhibit, “Leadership: Oliphant Cartoons and Sculpture from the Bush Years” are his original ink drawings, sketches, prints and sculptures from 2001-2009 which also includes a sampling of his more recent work

On Sunday, January 6, the last day of this exhibit, a special array of activities will help celebrate its time at the Fullerton Museum. To tie in with the “Leadership” theme of Oliphant’s cartoon and sculptures, Museum personnel will celebrate “Leadership Family Day,” with tours of the exhibit, hands-on crafts, scavenger hunts and more.

The museum is located at 301 N. Pomona Ave., east of Harbor Blvd., in downtown Fullerton.  Hours are noon-4 p.m. Tuesday-Wednesday and Friday-Sunday, and noon – 8 p.m. Thursday. Further information may be obtained by calling the Fullerton Museum Center at (714) 738-6545.
