The color green will be the order of the day Friday, March 16, when the Community SeniorServ lunch program at the Fullerton Community Center hosts a St. Patrick’s Day celebration.
The festivities will begin at 10 a.m., and will include music to dance to by musician and vocalist Ron Allen. A traditional lunch of corned beef and cabbage, along with a special “shamrock” dessert, will be served.
Cost of the lunch is $3.50 per person for the general public, and a suggested $2.50 donation per person for people 60 years of age and older. Reservations are not required.
The Fullerton Community Center is temporarily housed at St. Mary’s Church, 400 W. Commonwealth Ave., during construction of a new community center.
Further information may be obtained by calling the center at (714) 738-6305.
Persons requiring special accommodations to attend the festivities are asked to notify the center staff prior to March 16.
