Mastering the ins and outs of estate management can be a daunting and often confusing task.

But there is help on the way thanks to “It’s Your Estate,” a free eight-week estate management course offered by the Fullerton Community Center starting Wednesday, April 4

The course, which will be held from 2-3:30 p.m. Wednesdays, will feature local financial and estate experts who will answer questions and help participants stay in charge of their estate planning options, safeguard their medical care, and avoid the pitfalls of estate mismanagement.

The sole purpose of the course is education – there will be no professional services or products sold or charitable solicitations sought.

Registration is required for the course, which is being offered by the center in cooperation with Professional Fiduciary Services.  Cosponsors include the American Heart Association, Chapman University, Foundation for the Great Park, the Laguna Canyon Foundation, the Mission Hospital Foundation, the Orange County Community Foundation, Ocean Institute, St. Joseph Hospital Foundation and the St. Jude Memorial Foundation.

Registration and further information may be obtained by calling the center at (714) 738-6305.

The Fullerton Community Center is temporarily housed at St. Mary’s Church, 400 W. Commonwealth Ave., during construction of a new community center.

Persons requiring special accommodations to attend the class are asked to notify the center staff prior to April 4.
